Susan Kaui Koehler

Kaui serves as the Treasurer of the Makoa Foundation and is the Director of Sales & Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Oahu North Shore, where they have successfully repositioned the hotel in a post-pandemic environment, exceeding historical business levels. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including leadership roles at Marriott and Embassy Suites, Susan has a proven track record of developing innovative sales strategies and cultivating strong relationships with customers and partners. Her expertise in market analysis and revenue management has significantly increased group volume and leisure and business travel revenue, showcasing her commitment to driving growth and enhancing guest experiences.

Kaui holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and currently resides in Kaneohe, HI.
